Millburn Superintendent Tells Board About School In Fall
The state may release broad guidelines early next week, said Dr. Christine Burton.

MILLBURN, NJ – In her virtual learning update on Friday evening, Millburn Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christine Burton said she gave a presentation to the Board of Education on Tuesday about options for returning to school in the fall. You can view it here.
Burton wrote, "As I mentioned last week, we are planning ahead for several likely options for what schools may look like in September. We are awaiting guidance from the state, which we expect early next week. I anticipate many of the protocols may be similar to what was released for colleges this week, and we are preparing our schedules, classrooms, and large gathering spaces for those scenarios."

- Virtual plan (revised distance learning)
- Blended plan (portions in school and virtually)
- Intermittent plan (for when schools need to close again)
A parent survey can be taken here. Burton asked Friday that parents take it by this Monday.
She had said in the previous week's update that the district will send more surveys in summer.
