Millburn Trader Joe’s Hit For 12 Bags Of Shrimp: Police
Millburn police arrested an Irvington man after he allegedly absconded with 12 bags of shrimp from Trader Joe's.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn police arrested an Irvington man after he allegedly absconded with 12 bags of shrimp from Trader Joe’s earlier this month, authorities say.
According to the Millburn Police Department, Trader Joe’s staff told officers that a man concealed the shrimp on his person and left the store without paying on Jan. 9.
The value of the seafood was estimated at $118, police said.

A Millburn officer later stopped a 51-year-old Irvington man who fit the suspect’s description in the area of Millburn and Myrtle avenues on Jan. 9, authorities said.
After conducting an investigation, police charged the man with shoplifting and hindering and remanded him to the Essex County Correctional Facility on outstanding warrants from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office and Wayne Township.
