In Millburn: Train Drug Arrest, Credit Card Fraud, Parking Lot Marijuana Arrest

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are taken directly from the Millburn Police Blotter, which may not include the full scope of police activity in the area. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
On 4/7/2015, Officer Tichenor responded to the Millburn Train Station while looking for a suspect out of Morris Township. The suspect Jasper Vincent, age 21, of Kew Gardens, N.Y., was located on the NJ Transit train, at the station. After further investigation Vincent was found to be in possession of CDS. Vincent was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and released pending a court date.
On 4/8/2015, Officer Manuyag responded to the Mall at Short Hills on a theft. Neiman Marcus security allegedly observed a male use fraudulent credit cards in the store. The male Terron Stowe, age 28, of Saint Albans N.Y., and Gary Burrell, age 32, of Saint Albans, N.Y., were located in the parking lot. After an investigation several fraudulent credit cards were located. Stowe was charged with credit card theft and released pending a court date. Burrell was charged with credit card theft, unsworn falsification, hindering apprehension and released pending a court date.

On 4/9/2015, Officer Manuyag responded to the Mall at Short Hills on a credit card fraud that occurred at Prada and Louis Vuitton. The suspects Guo Liang You, age 25, of Brooklyn N.Y, and Ke Lin, age 34, of Brooklyn N.Y., were detained outside of Macys. Prada and Louis Vuitton security both stated that You and Lin both tried to make purchases with fraudulent credit cards. Lin was charged with credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft by deception and released pending a court date. You was charged with credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft by deception and turned over to I.C.E
On 4/9/2015, Officer Freem stopped Nataliya Umanets, age 28, of Brooklyn N.Y., for an outstanding warrant. After further investigation Umanets was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Umanets was transported to the Essex County Jail on several warrants.

On 4/11/2015, Officer Tavaras responded to the Mall at Short Hills with information that a vehicle in the parking lot had a strong order of marijuana coming from it. The vehicle, a Dodge Caravan was parked in the J lot. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Kyleamin Martin, age 35, of Jersey City, was charged with possession of CDS. Martin was released pending a court date.
