Millburn Varsity Tennis Player Holds 2nd Annual Charity Match
Freshman Aryn Juneja raises $1500 for Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills and Phyt Cares
Aryn Juneja, a Varsity Tennis Player at Millburn High School, organized the 2nd Annual Short Hills Community Charity Tennis Tournament on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 to support the Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills and Phyt Cares, the 501c3 U.S. tax-exempt and 1101.01 Puerto Rico tax-exempt non-profit that educates youth and communities in New York City and Puerto Rico through fitness.
The tennis tournament took place at Millburn High School’s Tennis Courts and Juneja raised over $1500 for both non-profits. Juneja was instrumental in organizing all aspects of the event, from inspiring the community to participate, reaching out to local businesses to sponsor the prizes and provide refreshments for the event.
“Our 2nd Annual Short Hills Community Charity Tennis Tournament was a great success and I look forward to organizing this event in subsequent years to inspire the township to support two great causes: the Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills and Phyt Cares,” Juneja said.
