Millburn Wants You To Come to Edcamp Saturday

An education conference guided by the interests of the participants will be in the new Millburn Innovative Learning Lab.

MILLBURN, NJ - There may not be s'mores and bunk beds or tug-of-war, but Edcamp Millburn-Short Hills is expected to be an exciting opportunity for educators, parents, and community members to come together and participate in a free morning of innovative learning, networking, conversation and fun.

An Edcamp is a collaborative “un-conference” that is guided by the interests of the participants. Although participants do not need to present, anyone with a topic of interest is encouraged to sign up to facilitate a conversation. Participants are welcome to propose a session where they are the expert or where they are the one with questions or ideas.

Following the Edcamp philosophy, all topics are welcome, generated collaboratively on the day of the event, by anyone. Organizers are asking that participants bring curiosity and be ready to explore the possibilities.
