Millburn Will Fly Black Lives Matter Flag At Town Hall
Two Millburn High School graduates made the request, which sparked debate at a recent meeting.

MILLBURN, NJ — A request from two Millburn High School graduates at the recent Town Committee meeting to fly a Black Lives Matter flag outside Town Hall drew some debate, NorthJersey.com reported. Ultimately, the committee voted to fly the flag for two weeks in October.
The story said that Jade Wicker (who is Black) and Henry Knoll-Finn said flying the flag in front of Town Hall will show the town's "commitment to ameliorating racial injustice." But some said it opened the door for other controversial groups to make requests. The matter was also not on the agenda for that night. The story is here. Videos of the meetings can be found here, and the agenda is here.
