Millburn's Caring Kids Say Thanks

More than $3,000 was raised during this year's holiday drive.

MILLBURN, NJ - For the eighth time in as many years Millburn's Caring Kids Organization sponsored a holiday gift drive and celebration. And this year's tallies saw them collecting over 1,000 gifts and over $3,100 in gift cards to purchase necessities for the students.

The organization partnered with New Jersey Regional Day School in Newark where every child in the school has significant special needs. Additionally, many of the families are dealing with significant financial hardships and food insecurity.

“These gifts are life-changing because they remove so much stress for the families,” Principal of The New Jersey Regional Day School of Newark Jennifer Mitchell.
