Millers Tennis Wins State Section Title Again
It's the Millburn boys' 25th straight section title. They now play for the group championship.

The Millburn boys tennis team secured its 25th straight and 35th overall state section title when it beat second-seeded Mendham High School 4-1 on Tuesday.
Miller first singles Eric Cohen cruised past Tony D'Angelo, 6-0, 6-4, mixing atomic serves and ground strokes with deft drop shots and lethal lobs. Following Cohen off the court, Dan Feldman and Mac Johnson at first doubles downed Mendham's Chase Matthisson and Nirav Shah, 6-4, 6-4, through well-placed returns and rapid-fire net play.
Rob Xie, Millburn's dependable second singles player, answered Eli Samaan's punishing drives with gutsy winners, taking the match, 6-4, 6-4. Millburn's fourth point was notched by brothers Sebastian and Nicky Chen-Schmidt at second doubles, who roared back from a 4-6 first set loss to win the next two sets, 6-0, 6-1, against Jeremy Holtzman and Rishi Shah.
