More Than $6K In Merchandise Stolen From Millburn Store: Police

Three bags were taken from Salvatore Ferragamo, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing more than $6,000 of merchandise from the Salvatore Ferragamo store on Aug. 3.

According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Salvatore Ferragamo store in the Mall at Short Hills where personnel reported a man took three handbags valued at $6,490 and left the store without making payment.

According to authorities, the suspect is described as a black male with a ponytail wearing a Yankees baseball cap, beige jeans, and black sneakers.

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
