Multiple Trespassing Incidents Reported At Millburn High School

Millburn police are investigating two separate instances of trespassing at the high school.

Millburn High School has seen a few unexpected visitors over the past weeks, according to police reports.

The Millburn Police Department stated that there have been two separate incidents involving trespassers at the school so far this month.

The first incident took place when an unknown suspect broke into a storage shed located at the rear of the school and stole climbing equipment sometime between Oct. 1 to Oct. 6, police said.

The stolen equipment was used in the school’s Adventure Education Outdoor Ropes Course and was valued at more than $4,000, NorthJersey.com reported.

The second incident took place when an officer responded to the school on a report of criminal trespassing. No arrests were made, but police found several food and drink containers in the building.

Police said the incident took place between Sept. 28 and Oct. 6.

Both incidents are under investigation, police said.
