National Night Out Set For Millburn On Tuesday

MILLBURN, NJ — On the first Tuesday of August each year, police departments across the country encourage residents to leave their lights on, talk to neighbors, and get to know their local police to show criminals that they're vigilant against crime.

And many communities, including Millburn, host family friendly events.

This coming Tuesday, Aug. 2, the Millburn Police Department host its National Night Out 2022.

National Night Out is described as "an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie."

This year's event in Millburn will take place at Taylor Park at 100 Main St. from 6-9 p.m.

They will have local vendors, bounce house, a game truck, an obstacle course, a DJ, and other entertainment, the organizers noted.
