Millburn's National Night Out Tuesday Will Have DJ, Food, Trucks

Millburn's annual National Night Out against crime will include a bounce house, emergency vehicles, a DJ, and food in Taylor Park.

MILLBURN, NJ — Local events for National Night Out will return to Millburn on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Taylor Park on Main Street.

National Night Out events are held in communities across America, a night for neighbors to get to know each other, meet their local police, and show unity against crime.

  • Police, fire, and EMS vehicles to explore
  • A DJ and music
  • Games
  • Bouncy castles
  • An obstacle course
  • Local food vendors

The events take place at Taylor Park at 100 Main St.

The National Night Out website states that the annual event "enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances."

Most areas hold their National Night Out events on the first Tuesday in August, and the state of Texas and select areas celebrate the first Tuesday in October.
