New Eyes Joins GivingTuesdayNow in Global Day of Unity

Join New Eyes on GivingTuesdayNow, a new global day of giving and unity taking place on Tuesday, May 5, as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

It’s a day for everyone around the world to stand together and give back in all ways, no matter who or where we are.

New Eyes for the Needy, a Short Hills nonprofit founded in 1932, has been receiving applications for eyeglasses from people who have lost their jobs and health insurance due to COVID-19. These individuals have limited to no other resources to obtain new eyeglasses.

New Eyes has served the most vulnerable during the Great Depression, World War II and the Great Recession. Please enable us to continue to serve during today’s crisis.
