No Change In Millburn Schools Administrator Median Salaries

The state has released information that shows how much your school district will pay administrators in the 2019-20 school year.

MILLBURN, NJ - The state has released information that shows how much your school district budgeted to pay principals, superintendents and other administrators in 2019.

The information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary in every New Jersey school district.

In Millburn, the median expense on administrator salaries is $130,000 for this year. That is a zero percent change from last year. It also places the district at 444 on the list from biggest increase to biggest decrease since 2018. Patch also compiled a complete list of schools from around New Jersey.

The median statewide salary is $125,207, a 1 percent increase over 2018.

And it's not just the big towns or the regional districts that pay the most: Indeed, Ridgewood is a great place to get a principal or administrator job, where the median salary is $161,849. So is Lavallette, where the median salary is $167,324. But nearby, in Bay Head, the median salary is listed as $1.
