One Injured in Rt. 24 Car Crash
Also, firefighters investigate a carbon monoxide incident on Western Drive.

One person was taken to the hospital after a car crash on Route 24 west early Friday morning.
The car rolled over near exit 7B, which is near the Mall at Short Hills, and Millburn firefighters needed to remove a window to remove the victim from the vehicle, according to a Millburn Fire Department report. Firefighters also assisted in preparing the victim to be taken to the hospital. The incident was reported at about 5:40 a.m., and firefighters were on scene until nearly 6:20 a.m.
Firefighters also cleaned up the debris at the scene. Millburn police were on scene.

Carbon Monoxide Reported on Western Drive
There were no reports of sickness when Millburn firefighters and PSE&G workers investigated a carbon monoxide incident on Western Drive on Wednesday morning.

The gas company was on scene at just after 8:20 a.m. to investigate a gas leak when the carbon monoxide alarm went off, according to a Millburn Fire Department report. Firefighters found readings of 16 parts per million inside the house.
Firefighters and gas company workers shut down the heating and ventilation system and vented the house. The carbon monoxide did not return once the house was closed, according to the report. The gas company workers were going to check the heating and ventilation system to make sure it was safe.
