Organic Baby Goods Store Opens In Short Hills Saturday

Monica + Andy, an organic essentials brand for mom and baby, made by moms with babies opens Saturday at The Mall at Short Hills.

SHORT HILLS, NJ - Monica + Andy, the blanket-only online shop that expanded to a booming digital and brick-and-mortar business, is opening a new location at The Mall at Short Hills Saturday.

The Short Hills location adds New Jersey to the list of Guideshops in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles and Boston. The new location will offer customers the opportunity to shop the full Monica + Andy collection as well as participate in an array of on-going experiences and events geared towards expecting and new parents.

Monica Royer started Monica + Andy in 2014 and she said the organic essentials for mom and baby, made by moms with babies inspiration did not come in a boardroom, but rather in the delivery room after having her daughter, Bella.

“I wanted to know with absolute confidence that what touched my daughter’s skin would be the softest and safest fabrics available,” Royer said. “But what I found was quite the opposite. It was an a-ha moment."

Monica + Andy offers full wardrobe options for children 0-8, and has reinvigorated the classic layette purchase with their signature, curated and customizable Cuddle Boxes, as well as other bundling options that make it easy and fun to shop and gift for every age and occasion, Royer said.

"We make organic essentials without compromise. That means GOTs certified organic fabrics that are lead, phthalate and flame retardant free— because the fabric you first dress your baby in matters," Royer said.
