Pack 17 Webelos Cross Over, And A Trio Of Girls Make History

Scouts BSA Troops 17 and 19 were recently on hand to welcome eleven Webelos from Cub Scout Pack 17 into the next level of Scouting.

Scouts BSA Troops 17 and 19, both chartered at St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills, were recently on hand to welcome eleven Webelos from Cub Scout Pack 17 into the next level of Scouting. The Webelos crossed over after completing the highest rank in Cub Scouts, the Arrow of Light.

An energized trio of Webelos, Caroline DeSoe, Ava Legasto, and Lea McKenna, became the first girls ever to receive the Arrow of Light Award from Pack 17, and they are among the first female Webelos in the Northern New Jersey Council and the State of New Jersey to achieve the distinguished award. They are all excited to immediately join their new sisters in Troop 19.

In addition, Troop 17 welcomes Alex DeLorenzo, Ryan Dooley, Alex Ege, Asher Holland, Justin Lambert, Sam Strzelec, Shaayan Tiwari, and Darren Wu. The Troop is looking forward to having them all take part in their upcoming adventures.
