Package Stolen From Short Hills Home

Police say someone took a delivery from a resident's mailbox.

MILLBURN, NJ - The uptick in package delivery during the holiday season has coincided with an uptick in reported thefts from mailboxes and porches, and according to the Millburn Police Department, a Short Hills Avenue resident was victimized on Nov. 15.

According to officials, Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to a Short Hills Avenue residence on a theft
report where someone took a package containing four shirts valued at $64.76 from a mailbox.

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
