Phony Good Samaritans Injure, Rob Cab Driver
Taxi driver was attacked while changing a tire.

MILLBURN, NJ - A pair of faux good samaritans attacked a 22-year-old taxi driver while he was changing a tire on Dec. 30, according to the Millburn Police Department.
Millburn Police responded to White Oak Ridge and Hobart Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle crash. A 22-year-old taxi driver from Brooklyn reported while changing a flat tire on his 2018 Toyota Camry he was approached by two black males dressed in dark clothing. The victim states the individuals asked if he needed help, and after he declined they got into their vehicle and struck his vehicle causing an injury to his ankle.
The pair then returned to the victim and took his wallet from his pocket containing $1,000 cash. police said. The victim was transported to the Morristown Medical Center.
The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
