The weather was hot and humid early on Sunday, but plenty of locals took part in the Recreation Department's annual 4 Miler Race.
There were a number of categories with first, second and third place winners for both men and women in each age category. The race was on the roads in Short Hills around Gero Park. In addition to the four-mile race, there were youth races, a 50-meter dash, for kids ages 4-11 years old in Gero Park.
