Sandals Worth $1,400 Stolen From Shopper At Short Hills Mall

MILLBURN, NJ — Among the Millburn police reports from last week, a shopper at the Mall at Short Hills experienced an expensive burglary.

On Monday, May 8, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Carroll responded to parking lot J at the mall, according to police.

The owner of a Hyundai told Carroll that someone had entered his car and stole a pair of Hermes sandals that he had just bought, worth $1,400.

The car had been unlocked at the time, the shopper said.

The Millburn Police Detective Bureau is investigating.
