Scholastic Booster Grant Application Open In Millburn
Applications must be completed and submitted no later than June 30.
MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn-Short Hills Scholastic Boosters, which has been providing educational grants to township students since 1947, is now accepting applications for grants for the 2019-2020 college year.
More than 1,000 students, trying to close the shortfall in their college funding package, have received awards from The Boosters totaling more than $1,000,000. Individual Booster grants, which are based on demonstrated financial need, have ranged, in recent years, from $750 to $2,000 for the school year.
"Unlike government and private loans, the Boosters’ support need not be repaid. Every student—and their family—who receives a Boosters Grant has already been willing to put himself or herself under considerable financial obligations that will follow them well past their college years," Boosters President Jennifer Baer said.

“Funding for Boosters grants comes from our annual campaign,” Baer said. “The
Boosters continues to rely on the generosity of this community to help these worthy students bridge some of that shortfall and lessen their financial burdens.”
Donations to The Boosters can be made through the mail or directly through the website.
