Sensory Santa To Visit Short Hills Mall For Kids With Special Needs

MILLBURN, NJ — Santa has returned to two nearby malls — the Short Hills Mall and the Livingston Mall (see links below) — for the holiday season, and for kids with special needs, there will be one very special event.

The Mall at Short Hills will host a serene Santa visit for sensory-sensitive children at Santa’s Flight Academy on the morning of Sunday, Dec. 5.

Individuals with all types of special needs and their families are invited to a private photo session where extra care will be taken to support their sensory, physical,and other developmental needs to make this a magical holiday experience. Lights and music will be turned down to help create a calming environment.
