Several September Car Burglaries In Millburn: Police

Gloves, iPods, headphones and over-the-counter medicine were taken.

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Police responded to several reports of car burglaries in September including one on at 75 Main Street on Sept. 7. According to the report a 2010 Mazda MCX was broken into between 9 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Taken from the vehicle was an iPod and over-the-counter medicine. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

  • On September 12, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Michael Goldfarb responded to a Bleeker Street business to the report of a motor vehicle burglary. The victim told Goldfarb between 7:40 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. some broke the passenger side window of her 2010 Mercedes ML3 and rummaged through the vehicle. Nothing appeared to be missing, police said.
  • Sept. 14 saw Millburn Police Officer Anthony Catinella respond to a burglary in a motor vehicle report. According to police, the victim reported parking on Walnut Ave between 7:40 a.m. and 5 p.m. and noticing her glove compartment rummaged through and a pair of Beats headphones missing.
