In Short Hills: Students Raise Funds for Cancer Research With Art History Walk
School fundraiser garnered $3,000 for pediatric cancer research.
Students at Hartshorn Elementary School in Short Hills experienced “Art Through the Ages” while also raising funds for pediatric cancer research during a school event held in late May.
During the event, hallways were transformed with various art pieces that took visitors “through history” with various works which each represented an important part of art history.
The Hartshorn community also raised funds for pediatric cancer research through the Cookies for Kids Cancer bake sale at the gala. According to a release, a total of $3,000 was raised, with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards pediatric cancer research.
