Six Local Artists Showing Work in Morristown

It is part of the M-SHAC Is Back exhibit.

Six Millburn-Short Hills residents are among the 56 artists from northern and central New Jersey who are displaying their work at the Art Upstairs Gallery in the Community Theatre in Morristown.

The juried exhibit, "M-SHAC Is Back," is sponsored by the Millburn-Short Hills
Arts Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the development of local artists. The Millburn artists are Joyce Hollander, Oscar Peterson and Victoria Plummer. Those from Short Hills are June Chernetz, Carol Cohen and Fran Henig.

Their work and that of 50 other artists will be on view through Aug. 9. A meet-the-artists reception is scheduled for Sunday at 3-5 p.m. The gallery will be open during performances at the Community Theatre and for two hours before curtain time.
