Slew Of Car Burglaries, Theft In Millburn: Police

Cars parked on five different streets were hit, according to police.

MILLBURN, NJ - A slew of cars were hit on five different streets during the overnight hours of Sept. 17, according to the Millburn Police Department.

According to authorities, Millburn Police responded to reports of motor vehicle burglaries overnight on Mechanic Street, Spring Street, Western Drive, Mountainview Road, and Slope Drive.

A 2013 Lincoln MKS on Mechanic Street was entered and a wallet taken, a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban was entered on Spring Street and two Samsung phones and two phone chargers were taken, a 2013 Mercedes Benz C30 was entered on Slope Drive and two pairs of sunglasses were taken, a 2018 Dodge Ram on Slope Drive was entered and a pair of Apple ear buds were taken, police said. The other vehicles entered were a 2010 Honda Accord, 2013 Audi Q7, a 2019 Honda CRV, and a 2013 Ford Explorer, but nothing was missing from these vehicles, police said.

A 2010 Volkswagen GTI was taken from a Slope Drive driveway, police said. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
