Smell Leads Millburn Police To Dead Body
A neighbor reported having not seen the man for a few days, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A 50-year-old Millburn man was found dead in his Mechanic Street apartment Friday, according to the Millburn Police Department.
Capt. Michael Mulligan said police responded to Mechanic Street shortly after 2 p.m. on a report of a smell coming from an apartment there. When police entered the residence, they found Jeffrey Craven dead in a bedroom, Mulligan said.
A neighbor at the scene reported having not seen Craven for a few days, Mulligan said. The cause of death has not been released pending the report by the medical examiner but the death did not seem suspicious, Mulligan said.
