St. Rose of Lima Academy hosts America's Grow a Row
Students donate to charity and shop at their own farmers market
St. Rose of Lima Academy Students were treated to an excellent presentation from a representative from “America’s Grow a Row.” This non-profit organization which is located in New Jersey donates over a million pounds of fresh produce annually to hunger relief organizations. SRLA's student council, on behalf of the student body, made a donation to this worthy charity. The students were then given the opportunity to choose a vegetable, an apple, and a pumpkin from Alstede Farms to take home in their reusable SRLA Farmers Market bag. #America’sGrowaRow@SRLA #Alstedefarms@SRLA
