Walgreens won approval in bankruptcy court to purchase Drug Fairs across New Jersey for $55.95 million, according to a Star-Ledger report.
Walgreens is purchasing 34 of the stores, and four of them, including one in Summit, were scheduled to either close or be sold to other bidders, according to the report.
There is a Drug Fair in the Millburn Mall on the Vauxhall-Millburn border, which is not among the four stores that could close. There is already one Walgreen's in Short Hills on Morris Turnpike.
