Steve Sandberg plays ALAYA at the Millburn Library

Come see this exciting classical and world music program with Steve Sandberg and featuring Zach Brock, Michael O'Brien, and Mauricio Zottarelli. Steve was the musical director and composer for Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go!, has conducted on and off Broadway shows, and been nominated for 3 Emmys. Steve's latest project "Alaya" begins with a solo piano recital of Bach, Haydn, Ravel, and Chopin, and continues with the quartet's soaring improvisations on music that draws from classical, African, Latin, Balkan, and Indian traditions.

ALAYA has already appeared at the Knitting Factory, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Sideshow Gallery. Their recent performance at the DiMenna Center resulted in 4 standing ovations!
