Stolen Millburn Car Recovered In Union: 2 Essex County Teens Arrested
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from a Norwood Terrace home, Millburn police say.

Police arrested two Essex County teens on Friday in Union after authorities recovered a crashed car reported stolen in Millburn.
According to the Millburn Police Department, on Friday, the Union Police Department alerted them that the crashed vehicle was located in their town.
After speaking to the alleged victim, Millburn police confirmed that the vehicle – a 2010 Ford – was the same one reported stolen from the resident’s Norwood Terrace home.

The resident added that the keys to the vehicle were taken from inside the home during a burglary, police stated.
Millburn police then responded to the Union Police Headquarters and charged Jesus Thorne, 18 of Maplewood, and Shaheed Johnson, 18, of East Orange, with burglary, theft, and conspiracy.

Thorne and Johnson were remanded to the Union County Correctional facility.
