Strawberry Festival Season Heats Up at Wyoming

One corner of Slayton Field is shaded, and it's where you could find a lot of people sitting and chatting at the strawberry festival Wednesday.

Temperatures were around 95 degrees on Wednesday during Wyoming Elementary School's annual strawberry festival. Kids flocked to the games and rides like they always do, but they also headed for some shade to rest and water when they got too hot.

Strawberry festival season closes with its final edition at Glenwood on June 9.
