Survey Will Analyze Consumer, Business Needs
Two online surveys will track what both groups want in Millburn-Short Hills

Millburn-Short Hills business owners and consumers surely have their opinions, and the newly-formed Millburn-Short Hills Business Coalition wants to know them.
The coalition has two online surveys that will determine the attitude, opinions and needs of consumers and businesses throughout the community. The coalition is a joint effort of the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Millburn Development Alliance and the town.
Each survey is 10 questions long and it should not take more than approximately 10 minutes to complete.The consumer survey can be accessed here, and the business survey can be accessed here. The surveys will be online through May 1.

Those who do not have Internet access can receive hard copies of the survey at Town Hall, ASAP One-Hour Photo on Main Street and Professional Audio Consultants on Essex Street. Copies are also available at the Chamber of Commerce office and the DMDA office.
A report of the survey's findings will be available this spring.
The coalition has established both long- and short-term goals to benefit businesses, residents and organizations, said Ralph Tarnofsky, owner of Professional Audio Consultants and chamber president, in a press release.
“Both the chamber and the DMDA are committed to providing Millburn and Short Hills with greater visibility and a more recognizable brand as the premier community in which to shop, dine, enjoy and live’”, Tarnofsky said. “Our new coalition will make sure all Township constituencies are well represented as we move forward in promoting our distinctive qualities.”
Gennaro Raimo, owner of ASAP One-Hour Photo and DMDA president said in a press release the coalition will strengthen lines of communication between the chamber and the DMDA.

"The consumer and business surveys should provide us with a better understanding of the issues facing residents and businesses, their current and potential needs and consumer shopping patterns," he said in the press release.
