TEDxMillburnLibrary Presentation on Happiness

Join us for a presentation of TED Talks on Happiness at the Millburn Library on Thursday, July 28 at 2 pm in the auditorium.

Come be inspired by these monthly pre-recorded TED Talks on a specific topic. We will present 2-4 videos on a specific topic each month and then have a short open discussion about what we've learned.

This month our topic will be on HAPPINESS. We will be showing videos from Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard, Brother David Stendl-Rast, and author of "Stumbling on Happiness," Dan Gilbert.

The presentation will be held at the Millburn Free Public Library on Thursday, July 28, at 2pm in the auditorium.

According to their website, "TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. ... TED is owned by a nonprofit, nonpartisan foundation. Our agenda is to make great ideas accessible and spark conversation."
