Thief Swaps Subaru For Bikes: Millburn Police

MILLBURN, NJ - A Mohawk Road resident saw her 2005 Subaru Forester replaced by a pair of stolen bicycles, according to Millburn Police.

On Nov. 24 Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to a Mohawk Road residence on a motor vehicle theft report. The victim reports sometime overnight someone took her 2005 Subaru Forester from the driveway, leaving a pair of bicycles her the front lawn.

Further investigation revealed the bicycles were reported stolen from a Birch Lane resident who also reported his son's 2004 Subaru Legacy was burglarized in the driveway.

Both incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
