Township Committee Honors Youth Baseball Teams

It was youth baseball night at the Township Committee meeting Tuesday night. The committee honored the Millburn 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U teams with proclamations for their championship seasons last summer. The 11U team was 35-8 and were teh district and state champions. The 12U team was 29-4 and were District 12, Northern New Jersey State champions and Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament Runner-Ups. The 13U team were Suburban League champions, Babe Ruth North NJ District champions, state champions and a Mid-Atlantic Regional Quarter finalist. The 14U team was Suburban league Champions, Babe Ruth North NJ District Champions, state champions and a Mid-Atlantic Regional participant.
