Earlier this week, the Millburn Free Public Library saw the return of the two 100 year old Edward Dufner masterpieces to the Millburn Free Library by Firm Maquette Fine Art Service, NY. The Library Renovation required that the Paintings remain safely stored till construction was completed this May.

Restored in 2017 and 2018, the two large paintings were willed to the Township by the Artist himself. They remain unique in their size, beauty and one of a kind representations of the cusp of the American Impressionist Movement in the world of 20th century fine art.
Originally they hung at the Bauer Community Center. The Years wore heavily on the frames and canvases, which were determined to need restoration in 2017 by an expert team headed by Banick, Barach and Nicholas Rizzo, owner of Nicholas Rizzo Fine Arts Gallery and lifelong Resident of Millburn, Master of Fine Art Restoration, John Powell and Amy Sokoloff of Chelsea Restorations Associates NY.
