Trio Of Shoplifters Caught: Millburn Police

Lacoste, Foot Locker and Polo were hit by thieves, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A trio of shoplifters were arrested and charged after an incident with police on June 24, according to authorities.

According to the Millburn Township Police Department, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the Lacoste store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report where personnel reported 23-year-old Gerald Green of Staten Island, NY, concealed a pair of sweatpants valued at $110 in his pants and left the store without making payment. Tsiah Cook, 21, of Staten Island, NY, and 19-year-old Denario Cook of Brooklyn, NY, were also arrested for shoplifting and receiving stolen property from Foot Locker and Polo, police said.

All three individuals were issued summonses and released, police said.
