Trio Of Warrant Arrests In Millburn: Police

Amy Persaud, Kevin Persaud-Jacobs and Alexander Martin were taken into custody after a traffic stop, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - Two people with active criminal warrants and one with a traffic warrant were diring in the same car when they were caught and arrested by the Millburn Police Department on March 23, according to authorities.

Police said that Millburn Police Officer Manuyag stopped a 2003 Audi A4 on South Orange/Old Short Road for an inoperable brake light. The investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Amy Persaud of Orange on an outstanding criminal warrant out of East Orange, 29-year-old Kevin Persaud-Jacobs of Newark on an outstanding criminal warrant out of East Orange, and 28-year-old Alexander Martin of Morristown on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Newark, police said.

Persaud and Persaud-Jacobs were transported to the East Orange Police Department. Martin was released with a new court date.
