According to Schoenknecht, studio segments were shot in Branchburg at The Light House stages, musical performances recorded in Kean University's acoustically-near-perfect Enlow Hall in Union, and additional "on location" footage was gathered in Morristown, Summit, Millburn, and near Gutzon Borglum's iconic statue of Abraham Lincoln in Newark.
