Two Arrested For Theft: Millburn Police
Hakeen Caldwell and Wanya Mchenry were stopped by police as they walked the center of South Orange Avenue.
MILLBURN, NJ - A pair of 18-year-olds from Newark were arrested and charged with hindering and one with theft after an incident with police on Feb. 18.
According to officials, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa observed two individuals walking down the center of South Orange Ave and Old Short Hills Road. The investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Hakeem Caldwell of Newark for burglarizing two vehicles on Winthrop Road with charges of theft and hindering. Wanya Mchenry was also placed under arrest for hindering, police said.
Both individuals were released on a summons.
