Two Men In Ski Masks Rob Mail Carrier For His Ring Of Keys In Millburn: Police
Two men demanded the mail keys from a postal worker in Millburn, "then threatened to rough him up for them," police said.
MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn police said Monday that two men in ski masks threatened a mail carrier, then stole his ring of mail keys a little over a week ago.
Police say that on Saturday, May 13, at 3:27 p.m., Millburn Police Officer Dundon responded to Walnut Avenue on a report of a robbery of a postal employee.
A mail carrier told him that two males wearing black ski masks and dark clothing approached him on the front lawn of a Walnut Avenue residence and demanded his postal keys, "then threatened to rough him up for them."

The mail carrier ran to try to escape them, but the pair "were able to catch up to him and push him to the ground," police said. "The actors [suspects] then wrestled with the victim and removed the postal keys from his belt loop."
They were seen leaving in a silver Mercedes Benz sedan, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.
The incident is being investigated by the Millburn Detective Bureau.
