The Miller boys and girls track teams had some success at the annual Essex County Championships Woodman Field in Montclair on Friday and Saturday, but did not score very much in the meet.
Blake Udland’s third place finish in the 1,600 meter on Friday, clocking in at 4:15.12, was the best finish of the meet for any of the Blue and White runners. Fellow distance runners, Robert Stone and Matt DeShaw claimed fifth and sixth respectively in the 3,200 held on Saturday.
On the girls’ side, Proshat Zarrabikia was the only scorer for Millburn, taking sixth place in the shot put, after a throw of 33 feet one inch.

Overall, the boys finished in 15th place with nine points; St. Benedict’s Prep was the winner with 90. The girls score one point, finishing in a three-way tie for last place; Columbia was the winner with 108 points.
