Volunteer Opportunities Close to Home with New Eyes

Are you looking for a fun, long-term volunteer opportunity close to home? Volunteer as a New Eyes for the Needy eyeglass sorter or admin support, located in Short Hills, NJ. We’re looking for seniors, stay-at-home parents, college students, and local residents who are interested in volunteering with us throughout the year.

New Eyes for the Needy is a global not-for-profit that provides clear vision - eyeglasses - to individuals, families and kids in the U.S. and around the world. Did you know that in the U.S., more than 14 million people lack access to prescription eyeglasses?

Volunteering typically takes place morningtime Mondays through Thursdays in our office at 549 Millburn Avenue in Short Hills. Hours are flexible.

If you work full-time, we offer opportunities to use your volunteer hours or to organize a corporate volunteer project with New Eyes.
