Winter Is Coming And Millburn Schools Are Ready, Are You?

The Millburn School District is reminding parents to update their SchoolMessenger information to stay connected during winter weather.

MILLBURN, NJ - Winter is coming and the Millburn School District wants parents to be prepared to receive information and news through the SchoolMessenger service. Officials are asking that before the weather turns frosty residents update their contact information in the notification system.

The Millburn School District uses the SchoolMessenger notification system to alert users of inclement weather announcements for school closings, delays and other emergencies, via phone, email and text messages. The district also uses this system for sending out general emails and news, transportation schedule changes, as well as attendance calls at the middle and high schools.

SchoolMessenger has updated their contact management interface, so that users have more control over the ways in which they are contacted. It looks a little different, but officials say it is designed to feel more user-friendly.
