Winter Holidays Food Lecture at Millburn Library with Food Historian Judith Krall-Russo

Food historian Judith Krall-Russo will be presenting on the history of food served at winter holidays at Millburn Library, Dec 8 at 11am.

Food historian Judith Krall-Russo will be at the Millburn Free Public Library on Thursday, December 8 at 11:00 am. She has studied the fascinating and rich history behind homegrown foods and exotic teas. She shares her knowledge by telling wonderful stories, laced with humor and surprising detail that make us appreciate and have an even greater taste for our New Jersey cuisine. She will be presenting on the fascinating history of the food served during winter holidays.

Winter — when the days are short and the nights are long. This is the perfect time to bring family and friends together for warm festivities. Learn the history, customs, and foods of various winter celebrations, including, Victorian Christmas, Hanukkah, Ancient Rome’s Saturnalia and the Winter Solstice.

Refreshments will be served.
