Woman With 3 Kids Stole Apple Pencils From Short Hills Mall, Fought Security: Police
Police said a woman who had three juveniles with her took Apple pencils from the Mall at Short Hills and fought off security.
MILLBURN, NJ — A woman who had three juveniles with her took Apple pencils from the Short Hills Mall last Friday without paying, then fought off security, the Millburn police said.
Police said that on Friday, March 10, at 4:19 p.m., Officer Dundon responded to the Apple store at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft.
Apple associates told police that an adult woman wearing a black zip-up jacket and blue leggings, who was with three juveniles, "selected several Apple pencils" and walked out of the store without paying.

Police said, "Apple security attempted to stop the female, but she fought with them and got away."
The value of the items was $357, police said.

Police said a "suspect vehicle" was located and impounded.
The Millburn Detective Bureau is investigating.
