Woman Jailed After Shoplifting Arrest: Millburn Police

Rosina Dukes had an outstanding criminal warrant, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A 57-year-old Irvington woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting and possession on May 15, according to the Millburn Township Police Department.

According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Macy's on a theft report where personnel reported Rosina Dukes concealed $897.50 worth of merchandise in a booster bag and left the store without making payment.

Dukes was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles, police said.

Dukes was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles, police said.

Dukes was turned over to the Hackensack Police Department on an outstanding criminal warrant.
