• 2 Dead After Early Sunday Morning Shooting in Millville (wpgtalkradio.com) — Two people were fatally shot early Sunday on North High Street in Millville, where police found both victims around 3:40 a.m. and they later died from their injuries. Authorities have released the victims’ names, confirmed the investigation is ongoing with the county prosecutor’s office, and are asking anyone with information to contact a designated detective.
   

• Millville man killed in police encounter faced forfeiture suit (courierpostonline.com) — A Millville resident recently shot and killed during a police response to a domestic incident was also the subject of a Cumberland County forfeiture suit over more than $160,000 in cash, gold coins, and his Jeep. The suit stems from an April arrest in Vineland where officers reported finding large amounts of cash and suspected drugs in his vehicle; those criminal charges were dropped after his death, which remains under state investigation.
   

• 2 Paddle Boarders Drown, Road Rage Assault, Cop Cars Rammed By Drunk Driver: NJ Weekend (patch.com) — Among several serious incidents statewide, two people were killed in an early Sunday shooting on North High Street in Millville, where local police found both victims with gunshot wounds. The roundup also notes two fatal paddle-boarding accidents in Morris County, a deadly Galloway Township motorcycle crash, and other high-profile criminal cases under investigation.
